We got this 3 year contract last year and it has been a delightful little concert series. There are 3 of these Friday nights, and a Summerfest event on a Saturday later in the season. I am really glad I convinced them to install 3 phase power near by so we no longer need to wrestle with generators.. We bring in our StageLine SL100, JBL VTX A6 and G28 speakers, and lighting. This is a really fun crowd and fantastic client.

This is out 10th year doign this concert series and it has been awesopme helping it grow. We bring in our big stage, big sound and lighting. The format of only (1) band is delightful. We got all of this set up in about 5 hours, and took it all down in about 2.6 hours. Fun event, fun crowd..

This has become one of our favorite events. We do this event in Vallejo, on Mare Island on the first Saturday of June. We bring in our big stage, a sound system for various bands, an LED wall and (2) smaller stages. The weather is gloriously cool and the music acts are all very nice and easy to get along with. I am bummed they stopped bringing us Filipino Spaghetti in the crew food area.. Maybe next year..

This was a big one for us, and the school. They wanted to change their long tradition of a handbuilt stage they did and small audio. They brought us in to do a large trailer stage, large sound, (2) 56 panel LED walls, and web broadcasting. We loaded in 2 days before, ran some rehearsals the second day and then did 2 days of graduations. We also used our new 4' high ADA ramp. This was a lot of gear and a lot of resources but we look forward to next year. Client was super happy.

We have done a few shows for this fun little brewery in Rancho Cordova, but this one will never be forgotten. Rain was in the forcast, but the event was happening anyway. A lot went into the marketing of this event and there was a large crowd. We had 3 bands on the schedule, but the headlining band decided they didn't want to risk the rain, so they backed out. This meant the event was ending at 6 pm right after Adam Aldama and The Aces. Rain happened nearly all day with waves of intesnsity, but it didn't seem to bother the fun crowd. Minutes after the last band was cleared off the stage and we pulled our PA down, the sky opened up. 30+ mph wind and hurricane type rain. It was crazy. We even had a lightning bolt hot the ground a few hundred feet form the stage. Somehow we managed to all get out safely.

The largest working steam train in the world was starting a cross country journey in our city of Sacramento, and we were asked by Union Pacific to provide a simple stage and sound for a press conference covering the event. We setup early thatg morning between train tracks, brought out our little battery generator, small 8'x12' stage and some QSC K10's. This was a really cool event and the size, sound and sight of this engine is breathtaking..

One of our favorite clients is a large statewide association of engineering firms. This year, they were having their annual meeting and awards night at the Disneyland Hotel. This was a dream, but this venue certainly has it's challenges. Accessibility, logistics once inside, the timing of setup and strike, rules for when Mickey enters the room, parking issues, crew food challenges etc. However, the event ran flawlessly even though the load out was one of the longest we have ever had. We look forward to introducing the things we learned next year when we are at this same hotel with the same client.

We were called in to the CA Museum in Sacramento to provide audio, video and staging for a big event hosted by the Governor and the First Partner. Jamie Lee Curtis, Carl Lewis, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Chef Nobu and others were inducted as this years class of 2026. We arrived 2 days early to get the A/V all setup, then a day of rehearsals for the presentation. The audience was only a few hundred, but they were moving from one place to another in a flow and we had to be ready in 5 different areas with audio and video. The crew worked flawlessly and our part was perfect.

The biggest event of our year. (2) trailer stages on either side of a football field, (8) Nashville Artists, (10) member crew, 3 days of load in, 2 days of load out and a real blast. We used (18) JBL VTX V20, and (8) G28 Subwoofers at the main stage, and (16) JBL VTX A6 and (6) G28 Subwoofers at the second stage. We brought in a 16'x9' LED wall and lightig on both stages. We had a variety of mix consoles on the main stage FOH riser. Allen & Heath D Live, Avantis, Soundcraft Vi5000, and an M32 R. For the second stage, we did FOH and monitors with a Behringer Wing. This was very unique event. We had (2) audio setups to do. The night started out with an indoor small tree lighting with around 175 people in the Captial Rotunda with the Governor and other dignitaries. We then had a larger sound system set up outside next to the very large Christmas tree with a DJ for an outdoor celebration. The biggest challenge was getting all of our road cases and gear inside the rotunda. This required a long inspection in security because they had to open and check everything coming in the building. This meant all road case drawers, pulling all cables out of trucks, looking at speakers, mics, etc. It wasn't bad, but it slowed us down. The indoor event was going to be in a perfectly round, tall domed marble room. We calculated a simple (2) JBL SRX 712M speakers on stands, (5) floor monitors for the band and choir, and simple mics along with a pulpit mic. This had to be flawless, and we had to send our audio to all of the news agencies there and the company doing the live stream and recording of the event. It ran perfectly and sounded awesome. It would have been really easy to over do this situation, but we were also limited by power, not a lot of it in this building. The outside area, we setup (4) JBL VTX F18 subwoofers and (8) JBL VTX A6 stacks. Luckily, this area gave us 50 amp power. Not ideal for this system, but it works. This event was very rewarding and we thank our client for providing food for us. This venue is pretty isolated.

We have been doing events with this group since 2005 in the Sacramento region. This particular event is the biggest event this non profit does, and it is nation wide. We take over Sutter Health Park in West Sacramento the day prior. We access the main concours of thr stadium and with the help of our new side by side 4x4 named Moto, we tow our speakers, stands and cables through the park where we deploy 13 speakers on stands to fill the concours with our audio the next day. They lock the park, and we return the next day for the outside of the gates setup. For this event, we brought our StageLine SL100 trailer stage, large audio, 16x9 LED wall, and a very important part, the beam of light that has to be bright, and timed perfectly. This is one of our favorite events. One of the challenges is, for various reasons, the stage setup keeps getting moved around. We have setup in a different location all 5 years we have been doing this event. This year, the location changed just a few days before. We had to figure out how to make the stage work in the new location and still maintain a proper fire lane in front of the stage. It was a tight fit, but it turned out perfectly for the needs of this event.

We were asked to provide all of the audio for this celebration that occupied the entire 10th Street block in front of the State Capital. This required a lot of speaker towers and subwoofers to fill this much distance. We utilize a great product form JBL called Venue Synthesis and then deploy the plan with JBL's Performance Manager. We are able to import a PDF of the street, set it to scale, then import the speakers we want to use and with audio prediction algorithms, we can see exactly where we need to place audio to cover effectively. It was a huge success and the client was happy.
